Llŷn Sub Aqua Club is a branch of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) based on the Llŷn Peninsula in North West Wales
We run Try Dives at the start of our winter pool season in November, December or January – all you will need is a swimming costume or shorts, and a t-shirt to wear in the water. We’ll provide the rest!
We welcome both new and experienced divers and have a great deal of experience in diving the challenging waters around the peninsula and further afield.
Whether you’re completely new to diving and want to gain your BSAC Ocean Diver qualification, or you’re qualified diver looking for dive buddies to explore the area there’s a warm Welsh welcome waiting at our club.
Want to learn to scuba dive? Llŷn Sub Aqua Club provides high-quality BSAC training for beginners aged 16 or over.
Learn to divePADI, SSI or another agency qualified? Great! Joining our club is a great way to develop your scuba diving and to simply get out there and enjoy some great diving!
Already a diver?If you have always wanted to learn to dive or are simply curious about scuba diving, then a Try Dive with Llŷn Sub Aqua Club is the perfect introduction!
In the safe confines of the pool, a BSAC Instructor will introduce you to the basic skills and equipment needed to experience the thrill of breathing underwater for the very first time. Try Dives cost £15.
A typical Try Dive session lasts about 1 hour. It involves poolside tuition on diving techniques and equipment, followed by a scuba dive in our pool with a BSAC-qualified instructor.
